Champion Laundry Service (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a drop-off laundry and dry cleaning shop in Gampaha, Sri Lanka, serving our community since 2021. You can reach us at:

2. Our service

We are a drop-off shop. You bring your garments and items to our Gampaha counter, we clean and finish them with care, and you collect them when they are ready. We offer washing, ironing, dry cleaning and related garment care, along with our suit and wedding wear vacuum packing service.

Turnaround times we mention are honest estimates, not fixed guarantees. We will always do our best to have your items ready on time and will let you know if anything affects the schedule.

3. Quotes and pricing

We do not publish fixed prices on this website, because the right price depends on the item, the fabric and the care it needs. For a clear, fair quote, simply call us, message us on WhatsApp, or ask at the counter.

Any quote we give is based on the information available at the time. If an item turns out to need extra work once we inspect it, we will let you know before going ahead.

4. Dropping off your items

When you drop off items with us, please note:

• We will give you a receipt or order reference. Please keep it, as you may need it to collect your items.
• Please check pockets and remove money, jewellery, keys and other valuables before handing items over.
• Please tell us about any stains, delicate fabrics, special instructions or items of sentimental value, so we can give them the right care.
• Please give us accurate contact details so we can reach you about your order.

5. Care of your garments

We treat every item as if it were our own and follow the manufacturer’s care labels wherever they are present. Even so, cleaning always carries some natural risk that is outside our control, including:

• Older, worn or weakened fabrics that may not survive normal cleaning.
• Colours that run or fade, and trims, beads or prints that react to cleaning.
• Shrinkage or changes in fabrics that behave unexpectedly.
• Pre-existing damage, defects or stains that cannot be fully removed.

Where an item carries no care label, or where you ask us to clean it against our advice, we will do our best but cannot accept responsibility for the result. If we have any concern about an item, we will talk to you first.

6. Loss or damage

In the rare event that an item is lost or damaged through our fault, please tell us as soon as you collect your order so we can look into it fairly and promptly. Any compensation we offer is based on the age, condition and value of the item, in line with normal practice in our trade.

Nothing in these terms removes or reduces any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act, No. 9 of 2003, or other applicable laws of Sri Lanka.

7. Collecting your items

Please collect your items within a reasonable time after they are ready. We have limited space, so items left uncollected for a long period (normally more than ninety days) may, after we have tried to contact you, be donated or disposed of responsibly. We would much rather return them to you, so please stay in touch if you are delayed.

8. Payment

Payment is normally due when you collect your items, unless we agree otherwise. We will always tell you the cost before we begin any work you have not already agreed to.

9. Using this website

You are welcome to use this website for personal, lawful purposes. The content, design, images, logo and branding on this site belong to Champion Laundry Service and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

We keep the website accurate and up to date as best we can, but we cannot promise it is always free of errors. Electronic communications through this website are recognised under the Electronic Transactions Act, No. 19 of 2006.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date shown at the top. By continuing to use our service or website, you accept the current terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka. We would always prefer to resolve any concern with you directly and in good faith first.
